We currently have an opportunity at our Amherst, New York facility to join IIMAK as a Kitter Operator.

 

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the majority of kitting activities
  • Maintenance and upkeep of the kitting room and associated storage areas throughout facility
  • Monitors and troubleshoots all equipment.
  • Plans kitting schedule accordingly.
  • Maintains the kitting inventory while in fixed communication with support groups (Inkmaking/ASC).
  • Performs and understands, with proficiency, the procedures of the operations.
  • Demonstrates excellent housekeeping skills.
  • Assist with Inkmaking activity as necessary

 

Knowledge, skill, and experience:

(Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the job)

 

  • Previous experience with Inkmaking or batch process activities.
  • Ability to complete weight verifications (use of scales).
  • Forklift experience, certification a plus.
  • Excellent documentation skills/compliance auditing.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of solvent/dry chemicals labeling.
  • Flexibility to change assignments as business needs dictate.
