Description
Founded in 1983, International Imaging Materials, Inc. (IIMAK) is a leading global manufacturer of printing, imaging and marking consumables and related services. Our highly engineered core products include a full line of thermal transfer ribbons, inkjet inks, and stamp inks used widely in manufacturing, distribution, food packaging, textiles, electronics, medical, healthcare and office applications. IIMAK headquarter is located in Amherst, New York where primary R&D, engineering, manufacturing and sales activities reside, with a strong dedication to cross functional teamwork. Additional manufacturing, sales and distribution facilities are located in Belgium, Brazil and Mexico. We currently have multiple opportunities as an Inkmaker at our Amherst, New York facilities.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare all inks and backings, to include TTR and Fluid Inks.
• Responsible for testing, inventory control, equipment monitoring and cleaning.
• Perform quality control testing of in-process and finished ink and backings.
• Support Engineering and Manufacturing on ink initiatives, 
• Help establish run rates and scrap loss for new fluid ink processes
• Build production inks to meet customer demands
• Monitor ink room equipment during operation and clean equipment when job is complete.
• Insure proper storage, recording and stock rotation of both raw materials and finished inks.
• Communicate with coating department on quality of materials which are being produced.
• Ability to perform effectively in a team environment.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:
(Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the job)
• Previous experience in a production environment, mixing, dispersing operations preferred. 
• Ability to understand specifications, identify products and follow recipe and instructions.
• Good mathematical aptitude.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in team environment.
• Solid PC skills to include MS Office and internal programs.
• Forklift certification a plus.

Positions above require availability and flexibility to work any shift in our 24/7 schedule:  
• A-Shift 7am-7pm Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, & every other Wednesday
• B-Shift 7pm-7am Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, & every other Saturday
• C-Shift 7am-7pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday, & every other Wednesday
• D-Shift 7pm-7am Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, & every other Saturday
