Title:Warehouse Associate

IIMAK headquarters is located in Amherst, New York where primary R&D, engineering, manufacturing and sales activities reside, with a strong dedication to cross functional teamwork. Additional manufacturing, sales and distribution facilities are located in Belgium and Brazil.  IIMAK’s IIMED Medical Manufacturing Solutions Division provides manufacturing services in Mexico’s maquiladora region. IIMAK has a strong culture of customer care, providing a full range of highly differentiated services that help our customers grow their business and make doing business easy.   We currently have an opportunity as a Warehouse Associate on our overnight schedules of "B-Shift" 7:00pm - 7:00am every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Saturday or "D-Shift" 7:00pm - 7:00am every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday.   
  • Operate all material distribution equipment in the warehouse
  • Daily safety inspection of material handling equipment and battery charging/changing station
  • Issue and return materials to production and inventory locations
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts and location audits
  • Perform shipping/receiving duties when necessary
  • Utilize hoist and crane system
  • Utilize personal computers, printers and wireless barcode scanning equipment
  • Use software including ProfitKey, IMS, Slitting Dispatch, Slit Specification database, Lot Tracker, leaderstrip & bintag label printing software, Windows, and Excel
  • Perform direct labor tasks in Production including jumbo packing, shrink-wrapping and packing
  • Complete quality audits as directed
(qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the job)
  • General warehouse experience
  • Inventory control experience
  • Forklift and electric pallet-jack experience
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting abilities
  • Computer experience/skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work independently and with a group
