Additional manufacturing, sales and distribution facilities are located in Belgium, Brazil and Mexico. We currently have an opportunity at our Amherst, New York facility to join IIMAK as a IT Analyst.
 

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under general supervision, participates in full software development lifecycle: analyzing requirements, developing designs, implementing and testing software projects using C#, .Net, JavaScript, and HTML. Collaborate on Microsoft BI development that will work with the traditional BI Stack (Power BI, SSIS/SSAS/SSRS) and also work with SQL, SQL Server. Work on customer facing web based software projects.

 

PRINCIPAL SKILLS NECESSARY:

  • Strong problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
  • Understanding of object-oriented design and development principles
  • Understanding of relational database design principles
  • Time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to excel in a collaborative environment
  • Attention to quality through unit tests, automation scripts, and code reviews
  • Customer focused approach, desire to support end users’ needs and requirements

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:

  • 3-4 years of experience
  • Experience planning and successfully executing complex development projects
  • Experience with Visual Studio .NET Programming C# and Entity Framework
  • Experience with HTML and CSS
  • Experience with SQL Server Management Studio and Transact-SQL
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI) a plus
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server (2008 R2, 2012)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
