Founded in 1983, International Imaging Materials, Inc. (IIMAK) is a leading global manufacturer of printing, imaging and marking consumables and related services. Our highly engineered core products include a full line of thermal transfer ribbons, inkjet inks, and stamp inks used widely in manufacturing, distribution, food packaging, textiles, electronics, medical, healthcare and office applications. IIMAK headquarter is located in Amherst, New York where primary R&D, engineering, manufacturing and sales activities reside, with a strong dedication to cross functional teamwork. Additional manufacturing, sales and distribution facilities are located in Belgium, Brazil and Mexico. We currently have and opportunity as a Demand Planner at our Amherst, New York facility.

• Converting scheduling and planning
• Review shop orders for material availability and release for production.
• Ensure appropriate ROQ’s are released and offcut opportunities are identified. 
• Monitor Slitting Dispatch timelines for assigned product ship date requirements.
• Work with production to prioritize workload based upon machine capacity and available manpower.
• Interface with other planners, purchasing, manufacturing, customer service and shipping to support customer care objectives.
• Focal point within planning for slit sample scheduling and prioritization.
• Develop and utilize broad planning skillset with ability to serve as a back-up as needed. Primarily back up for each of the Sr Planner Analysts’ for Converting, as well as for Fluid Ink planning.

• Bachelor’s degree a plus (Operations Management, Industrial Technology or Business Administration preferred).
• 3+ years of experience required.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts.
• Strong sense of ownership and commitment toward Customer Care.
• Solid knowledge of inventory management systems or other Order Fulfillment systems.
• APICS certification a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to lead teams or projects to successful completion.
• Excellent PC skills and knowledge.  Proficiency in Microsoft products to leverage AX related analysis.
• Excellent analytical program management skills. Ability to effectively collect, organize, and utilize data.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to interface with all levels of internal and external customers or suppliers.
