Description
Founded in 1983, International Imaging Materials, Inc. (IIMAK) is a leading global manufacturer of printing, imaging and marking consumables and related services. Our highly engineered core products include a full line of thermal transfer ribbons, inkjet inks, and stamp inks used widely in manufacturing, distribution, food packaging, textiles, electronics, medical, healthcare and office applications. IIMAK headquarter is located in Amherst, New York where primary R&D, engineering, manufacturing and sales activities reside, with a strong dedication to cross functional teamwork. Additional manufacturing, sales and distribution facilities are located in Belgium, Brazil and Mexico. We currently have an opportunity as a Kitter Operator at our Amherst, New York facilities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for the majority of kitting activities
• Maintenance and upkeep of the kitting room and associated storage areas throughout facility
• Monitors and troubleshoots all equipment.
• Plans kitting schedule accordingly.
• Maintains the kitting inventory while in fixed communication with support groups (Inkmaking/ASC).
• Performs and understands, with proficiency, the procedures of the operations.
• Demonstrates excellent housekeeping skills.
• Assist with Inkmaking activity as necessary

Knowledge, skill, and experience: 
(Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the job)
• Previous experience with Inkmaking or batch process activities.
• Ability to complete weight verifications (use of scales).
• Forklift experience, certification a plus.
• Excellent documentation skills/compliance auditing.
• Ability to work independently.  
• Knowledge of solvent/dry chemicals labeling.
• Flexibility to change assignments as business needs dictate.
• Shift Schedule – 7am-7pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday, & every other Wednesday
